Scottish Professional Football League was finally created at Hampden last night after a marathon 16-hour meeting of club representatives.

Hearts woes continue

Hearts don’t even have enough players left for a bounce game, after manager Gary Locke took pre-season training yesterday.

He had just 21 players there, and three of them were goalkeepers. (Sun)

Rangers have splashed out on a fancy new state-of-the-art bus, which has wi-fi, games consoles, satellite TV, and even a treatment table for injured players.

Hughes in Perth

Former Aberdeen midfielder Stephen Hughes has joined St Johnstone in training.

Hughes could hope to fill the role which had been set out for Richard Brittain before his pre-contract was ripped up. (Daily Express)

Killen return?

Hibs are looking to bring Chris Killen back to Easter Road.

Sutton leaves Hearts

As predicted, John Sutton has now parted with Hearts, after administrators BDO made him redundant.

McIntyre takes Queens role

Jim McIntyre has landed the vacant Queen of the South manager position.

Law anger at Rangers

Nicky Law has told of how he has forgiven Rangers for “putting ten men at the back” when they held his beloved Manchester United to a draw in 2010.
