Rangers consider £8m share issue

The Ibrox side are considering launching a new share scheme that would be offered to targeted shareholders only. Members of the Ibrox board met with representatives from anonymous Blue Pitch and Margarita holdings following poor season ticket sales which have pushed the club close to another insolvency event. Celtic reveal new away kit

Celtic’s new away kit will feature a tartan pattern next season as revealed by captain Scott Brown. The strip features the club’s tartan and two gold lines to signify the Celtic cross.

Rangers back in for Gavin Gunning

The Ibrox side are in contention to sign defender Gavin Gunning from Dundee United after Sheffield United withdrew their offer on medical grounds. Rangers

Ayr chairman hits out at Rangers spending

Lachlan Cameron has criticised the amount of money spent by Rangers to progress through the lower leagues of Scottish football. His comments come as Rangers chief executive Graham Wallace said Ally McCoist’s budget will not be altered as they bid to win promotion to the top flight of Scottish football.
