Vossen confirms interest in Celtic move

Jelle Vossen last night opened the door to a £2 million switch to Celtic.

It was revealed last week that Parkhead manager Ronny Deila has targeted the KRC Genk striker and he has now confirmed that he would be interested in a move to Glasgow.

The Genk forward made an impression while on loan at Middlesbrough last season with the Teeside club keen to secure a permanent move also.

Rangers continue Danny Wilson pursuit

Rangers will reopen talks with Danny 
Wilson in the next 72 hours in a bid to seal the defender’s return to Ibrox.

The deal to land the former Hearts 
stopper stalled last week but it is understood Mark Warburton and Davie Weir have now made it their top priority. (Record)

- Celtic assistant manager John Collins has ruled out his side making a move for free agent Danny Wilson this summer.

The former Liverpool defender has left Hearts and has been linked with a move to Rangers while Celtic are also understood to have kept tabs on the player.

But Collins has ended any talk of the Bhoys moving to take Wilson to Celtic Park.

Collins said in a press conference: “We won’t be pursuing Danny Wilson, no.” (Various)

West Ham United could appoint John Hartson as their new forwards coach ahead of the new season.

Lyon keen on Denayer loan move

French giants Lyon are continuing to push to sign Jason Denayer on loan from Manchester City.

The Belgian international made 44 appearances in all competitions for Celtic this season, establishing himself as a key man under Norwegian boss Ronny Deila.
