Call for Graham Wallace to be suspended

The Union of Fans, an umbrella group of Rangers supporters, has called for Rangers chief executive Graham Wallace to be suspended until Police Scotland conclude their investigation.

Ibrox shareholder Phil Mather has made a complaint in relation to comments made by Wallace at the club’s AGM in December that the club had enough funds in the bank to last until May.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon praised his Celtic side after their 6 - 0 win over Inverness and says there is more to come next season from Anthony Stokes and Leigh Griffiths as their partnership develops. • Neil Lennon backed Leigh Griffiths after members of the Green Brigade unveiled a banner apparently directed at the former Hibs striker.

It read: “A man must be a Celt on and off the field otherwise he is of no value to the club.”

Griffiths is currently under investigation for allegedly singing a racist chant aimed at former Hearts striker Rudi Skacel before an Edinburgh derby.

Lennon said: “We’ve all made mistakes but I’m sure this kid will come good.”
