Rangers’ chief Graham Wallace’s bonus revealed, Standard eye up Tony Watt and Celtic to speak to Anthony Stokes about rebel bar visit.

Wallace pay packet ‘revealed’

Graham Wallace will earn a bonus of £315k, 100 per cent of his salary, with the incentive based 50 per cent on his own personal performance and the other 50 on how the business performs.

Wallace will be given a £25k wage rise if Rangers reach the Premiership and a further £25k of they reach European football in the future. (Sun)

Standard Liege consider Tony Watt move

Belgian outfit Standard Liege are considering a move for on loan Celtic striker Tony Watt. The striker is currently on loan at Lierse however he has been sidelined following numerous bust-ups with management. Two other Belgian clubs - Zulte Waregem and Oostende - are also believed to be tracking the Scotland under-21 star. (Sun)

Johan Mjallby dreams of managing Celtic

Outgoing Celtic assistant manager Johan Mjallby says the decision to leave was a difficult one adding that he would jump at the chance to manage the club in the future should he make a success of his his early managerial appointments. (Sun)

Stokes asked to explain Republican bar appearance

Celtic striker Anthony Stokes will be asked to explain his alleged appearance at Republican bar in Belfast last week. Reports this week said Stokes was at a ‘Rebel Sunday’ music event at a bar on the Falls Road.

Celtic assistant manager Johan Mjallby said that the Irisman would be asked for an explantion. (Scotsman)

Ahmad in court action against Rangers

Former Rangers commercial director Imran Ahmad will be heading back to court next week in an ongoing bid to have £500k of the club’s assets frozen.

The dispute centres around unpaid bonuses which Ahmad claims he is entitled to having previously had a claim for asset freezing rejected.

However with the club’s financial future in doubt, Ahmad believes there is a fresh case as the club, he says, are trading while insolvent. (Scotsman)
