Higdon surprise
Ex-Motherwell striker Michael Higdon has surprised everyone with a move to the Dutch Eredivisie, joining NEC Nij-megen on a two-year deal.
The 29-year-old striker was named PFA Scotland player of the year last season, and had been expected to move to England. (Scotsman)
