Norwich could propose swap deal for van Dijk

Norwich City could use former Scunthorpe United striker Gary Hooper as part of a bid to take Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk to Carrow Road, according to reports.

It has been reported that the Canaries are preparing an £8 million offer for the Dutchman, who has played 71 games for the Glasgow giants since signing in 2013.

While it has also been suggested this could mean a return to Parkhead for Hooper, who left Scotland to join Norwich. (Various)

Celtic set to seal Vossen move

The Parkhead club are in advanced negotiations with Genk striker Jelle Vossen and are favourites to secure his signature.

The Belgian international striker spent the year out on loan at Middlesbrough last season in order to help push them towards promotion.

He was signed last summer from Belgian side Genk with a view to a permanent deal at the end of the season, believed to be around the £2.5 million mark, which they now can’t afford due to missing out on promotion to the Premier League. (Express)

Juanma Delgado ready to join Hearts

Spanish striker Juanma Delgado last night declared himself ready to sign for Hearts after freeing himself from his contract with Greek club Kalloni.
