SFA move in to Dundee United ticket dispute

Dundee United chairman Stephen Thompson has held talks with senior SFA officials yesterday following the war of words

with Rangers over the Tannadice club’s ticket allocation for their April 12 cup tie at Ibrox.

Salenko says he wasted his career

Rangers flop Oleg Salenko says he wasted his career by moving to Rangers in 1995. He spent a season at Ibrox in which he scored 7 goals in 16 appearances.

He said: “I only signed because I thought we had a chance of winning the Champions League. But the standard in the Scottish league was low.” (Record)

Fraser Forster says title will make up for cup losses

Celtic keeper Fraser Forster says winning 3-in-a-row will help ease the pain of being dumped out the League and Scottish Cups.

He said: “It’s been an excellent few years. It has been a bit disappointing in the cups but I feel we have shown in the league how well we can play and how consistent we can be.”

Gary Locke admits administration fears

Hearts manager Gary Locke says it will be some time before Hearts leave administration. The Foundation of Hearts is waiting on final permission from the club’s Lithuanian owners to sign off on a £2.5m rescue package.

Commons Scotland decision should be respected - Wotte

SFA performance director Mark Wotte has called for an acceptance of Kris Commons’ decision to quit the national set up despite questioning his ambition in an earlier tweet.

Wotte says his decision should not been respected.
