Ciftci on brink of Wigan switch
WIGAN look set to beat Celtic to Dundee United striker Nadir Ciftci, after Latics boss Gary Caldwell had a £1 million bid for the Turkish striker accepted.
And former Hoops defender Caldwell has been given permission to hold talks with Ciftci after a Celtic bid thought to be in the region of £900,000 was thrown out by United chief Stephen Thompson. (Scottish Sun)

Belgian publication HLN confirmed that the 26-year-old was holding talks with the Championship outfit, while Middlesbrough are hoping Genk will give the go-ahead for a second loan deal, with an option to buy if they are promoted to the Premiership.,

Celtic close to Janko deal
CELTIC are close to finalising a deal for Manchester United starlet Saidy Janko, with the Swiss teen believed to be back in Scotland for further talks.
The 19-year-old held preliminary discussions with the Hoops last week and could seal a switch to Glasgow by the end of the week.
Janko, who spent last season on loan at Bolton, can play at right back or right midfield. (Daily Record)

Lang, 18, is a Scotland youth team-mate of Ryan Hardie and joins from Birmingham while 17-year-old striker Gibson is a former Stoke and West Brom trainee.

Hide AdHIBERNIAN have reportedly put in a bid for NAC Breda midfielder Joey Suk, according to reports in the Netherlands.
The Dutch-Indonesian, who has had spells with Beerschot and Go Ahead Eagles, recently had a trial with Burton Albion and is described as a robust defensive midfielder.
It is believed Breda have allowed Suk to leave in a bid to cut costs following their relegation from the Eredivisie.
Meanwhile, Alan Stubbs hasn’t given up hope of bringing Dylan McGeouch back to Easter Road following his loan spell last season. (Herald)
