Green transfers shares

Rangers say former chief executive Charles Green has agreed to transfer over half a million shares to Laxey Partners Limited.

Under the terms of the agreement, the transfer of Green’s 714,285 shares to the Isle of Man-based investment firm can not take place before 7 December. (Scotsman)

Ex-Motherwell man Chris Humphrey says he turned down an offer to go to Rangers because the thought of playing in the Second Division wasn’t appealing.

Hearts defender Andy Webster is keeping quiet on his next move after the troubled Tynecastle club offered him an extension under reduced terms.
