Champions League: Celtic v Ac Milan

• Neil Lennon will hand winger Derk Boerrigter a start against AC Milan tonight as he looks to seal a win at Parkhead that would see Celtic remain in Champions League contention.

The Dutchman will be joined in an attacking forward line likely to include Kris Commons, James Forrest and Georgios Samaras.

Lennon yesterday promised that his side would play with ‘pace and zest’ against the Italians.

• AC Milan’s Kaka says the atmosphere amongst his team mates is tense but he is confident that they can use the pressure on them to produce a result tonight. The Brazilian had to placate angry supporters outside the San Siro after a draw against Genoa left his side in 11th place in Serie A - just 5 points off the bottom.

• Charlie Mulgrew says Celtic can take confidence from their last match in the San Siro against Milan where they lost 2 - 0 but felt unfortunate to lose.

The defender said: “We were a but unlucky and didn’t take our chances but hopefully we can take that form into the game.”

• Georgios Samaras and Emilio Izaguirre are just one booking away from missing Celtic’s last Champions League group stage match against Barcelona in the San Siro

• Celtic’s group rivals Ajax take on Barcelona in Amsterdam tonight with coach Frank de Boer eyeing second place in the group. The Catalans will be without Lionel Messi who scored a hat-trick when the club’s met earlier this season.

Rangers announce AGM business to stock exchange

The Ibrox board this morning formally released their AGM agenda which could see radical changes to the club’s boardroom when shareholders meet on December 19.

The meeting will see a vote on reelecting David Somers, Graham Wallace, Brian Stockbridge, Norman Crighton and James Easdale to the board.

The other business section includes a vote on whether Paul Murray, Malcolm Murray, Scott Murdoch and Alex Wilson should be appointed to the board.

• Ally McCoist’s side extended their winning run to 13 games with a 3 - 0 victory over Arbroath last night with goals from Jon Daly, Bradley Donaldson and Nicky Clark. The light blues now lead League Two by 11 points with a game in hand. (Scotsman)

Dundee launch probe into supporter attacks

Dundee have begun an investigation into allegations their supporters were attacked by Hamilton fans following the Dens Park side’s 3 - 0 victory. The match had to be stopped in the first half when the two sets of fans clashed. Dundee say they are reviewing video footage. (Sun)

Jelavic being targeted by West Ham

Former Rangers striker Nikica Jelavic is being targeted by West Ham after becoming a bit part player under new manager Roberto Martinez. The Croat was signed by David Moyes from the Ibrox club in 2012 for £5m and went on to score 16 goals in 56 games. Sam Allardyce is understood to be considering a loan move for Jelavic in January with the player keen for first team football to boost his World Cup chances. (Sun)

Four clubs on brink of collapse

Four Scottish clubs are on the brink of going under and another 16 are in serious financial trouble according to a report into the state of the game by finance firm Begbie Traynor.

The report, entitled Football Distress Report, warns that more clubs face falling into financial diffculty in the near future unless they can bring their finances under control. (Scotsman)
