Celtic snub Hooper offer

Celtic have rejected a bid of around £4.5 million from Hull City for striker Gary Hooper.

It is understood Celtic value Hooper at around £7m although the Englishman, who joined from Scunthrope for £2.4m in 2010, only has one year left on his contract. (Scotsman)

SFL comes to and end

A majority of SFL clubs have agreed to merge with the SPL at talks in Hampden, with 23 clubs agreed to vote for proposals, with six opposing move.

The SPFL, which will retain the existing four division, 12-10-10-10 structure, will come under the auspices of Scottish Premier League Ltd. (Scotsman)
