The destination of the title may have been decided last weekend but there was still plenty to play for in the Scottish Premiership yesterday.

Hibs cemented third place with a 2-1 win over Ross County which moved them six points ahead of closest challengers Aberdeen, while the same scoreline for Livingston at home to Hamilton secured a top six finish for David Martindale’s men.

Rangers and Celtic had a blank weekend ahead of next Sunday’s Old Firm showdown at Parkhead, which is still on as it stands despite warnings from the Scottish Government that the match could be postponed in the wake of fan gathering following the Gers title win.

Edouard value questioned

Celtic would be lucky to get £15million for Odsonne Edouard this summer, according to Parkhead legend Frank McAvennie. He was quoted as saying: “The club can say they want £20-25million for him but they will not get it and if they are not going to get it, then he is not worth that.” – Football Insider
