Report claims Celtic in talks with father of Rangers star about becoming new manager
A report in Romania claims Celtic are in discussions with Gheorghe Hagi about becoming the club’s next manager.
According to Playsport, the legendary former player has been in Scotland for a few weeks to watch son Ianis in action for Rangers. They also state he has been talking to Celtic about a possible return to the dugout.
Hagi himself has already distanced himself from the story, which would suggest it’s very unlikely the 124-cap international will be the man to replace under-fire boss Neil Lennon.
