'Past embarrassing', 'Sacked at half-time?' - Celtic fans react as team trail at home to Ross County

Celtic’s first half performance against Ross County in the Betfred Cup last 16 has done nothing to quell the frustration among the support.

Ross Stewart’s 38th minute penalty has given the visitors the half-time lead much to the disgust of an already disgruntled Parkhead faithful.

Dáithí (@daithilav5): Better get the zoom call fired up at half time to ask Lawell and Desmond what we should be doing better to beat Ross County at home

Celtic Fc To The Core (@CelticFc_Core): This is genuinely brutal. No real threat going forward and stupid mistakes at the back.

Calum Baird BLM (@CalumBairdSongs): This is getting worse every week. The manager has to go. How can no-one with any decision making capacity see this? It’s laughable. Holt quit his job at Livingston for less. Lennon should walk at full time.

Jordan Kenny (@jordankenny7): Another defensive error and another keeper not commanding his box. Only team in the world that doesn’t address our problems in training

William Mckenna (@mcklennox79): Has a manager ever been sacked at half time?

CMB (@craig_xrp): Time for Lawwell to get into the showers and tell Lennon he’s sacked. And he can follow him out the door too.

Michael McDonald (@Mikey_Bhoy_1993): Don't care if we end up winning 5-1, the manager must be sacked with immediate effect. We are on a downward trajectory that will make the Mowbray era seem like the Lisbon Lions era by comparison.

Reckoner (@Reckoner1888): This is well past embarrassing. It's a disgrace that we're going into December with the same issues we've had since August. There's definitely effort there but our shape, organisation, tactics, tempo and player selection is a shambles.
