Odsonne Edouard attitude "really good" and striker will rediscover form to "blast" Celtic to title says team-mate Christopher Jullien
The unequivocal answer that the striker’s fellow Frenchman Christopher Jullien would give is...nothing that will not give way to the 22-year-old regaining the ravenous scoring form he displayed in gobbling up 28 goals last term. Jullien dismisses out of hand that Edouard has lost his appetite for his current posting after a much-touted summer move failed to materialise.
“His mind is on the field. He is really good in his attitude,” said the centre-back. ‘I see him every day, I know that every game he’s so sad if he doesn’t score, if he doesn’t perform.

And he knows that, at one moment, his game is just going to elevate. He knows that he needs everyone on the team to accomplish that, he needs his team-mates just like we need him. We just have so much respect for each other. I just think he’s going to blast everyone again, because his talent is unbelievable. We know exactly what he’s capable of.’
Jullien, ahead of the Neil Lennon looking for some respite from calls for his removal in the unlikely setting of the San Siro for Thursday’s Europa League encounter with AC Milan, is willing to proclaim that the squad has no distracted members - and will leave behind a two month period when they have posted only two wins to achieve their overarching objective of setting a new record for consecutive Scottish league successes.
“Since I arrived [in the summer of 2019, I’ve never seen that in anyone,” Jullien said of the suggestion players have lost focus in now wanting moves away. ‘When we look in each other’s eyes, we see only that we want to win the championship – and we believe we’re going to do it. We’re going to win the championship. That’s the mentality we have when we come into training every day.”
