Celtic also look set to complete the signing of £3m rated striker Teemu Pukki from FC Schalke after the German side’s injury fears over Adam Szalai proved unfounded.
The club confirmed that a fee has been agreed between the club with Celtic now negotiating personal terms with the player.
Szalai picked up a wrist injury against PAOK Salonika in the Champions League however it was found not to be serious.
