Ahead of a much-needed summer rebuild, Celtic will be looking to appoint the right individual for the challenge, and a host of high-profile candidates have been linked with the position over the past few months.
Here's a look at OddsChecker's top twenty contenders to become Celtic's next manager, as the race starts to heat up:
9. Gordon Strachan - Current odds: 25/1
Strachan won three league titles on the trot with Celtic, but hasn't taken a new managerial role since leaving Scotland back in 2018. The 64-year-old racked up a 48% win ratio while in charge of the national team. Photo: Ian MacNicol
10. Dan Petrescu - Current odds: 25/1
When a manager odds long-list comes up, you can bet your bottom Petrescu will be on it. He's managed no less than 14 clubs in his post-playing career, and has only just been named the Kayserispor boss. Photo: Fran Santiago
11. Enzo Maresca - Current odds: 22/1
An eye-catching career saw the Italian feature for the likes of West Brom, Juventus and Sevilla, before he retired at Verona in 2017. He's yet to manage a side, but has had three jobs as an assistant, including a spell with West Ham. Photo: Aitor Alcalde
12. Jack Ross - Current odds: 22/1
He's doing a fine job at Hibs, winning over half of his games in charge so far. The odds of becoming the next Celtic boss are currently pretty long, however. Photo: Mark Runnacles
