Lennon had a clutch of players unavailable for the weekend defeat to Rangers but does not expect to have many of his absentees back for the visit of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and his colleagues this week.

Nir Bitton and Hatem Abd Elhamed missed the league game with COVID-19, Ryan Christie was in self-isolation and the game came too soon for Odsonne Edouard after his positive coronavirus test on international duty.

James Forrest and Christopher Jullien were also missing through injury.

Ahead of Thursday’s match the Celtic boss said: "James won't be available, Chris Jullien, I doubt very much will be available and then the lads who are suffering from Covid.

"Maybe we'll have Ryan back, I don't know, we'll have to see how he is in the next couple days."
