Marseille lead race to sign wantaway Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham - but face competition from Ligue 1 rivals
Marseille have submitted a loan offer for unsettled Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham, although they face competition from Nantes for his signature
The French club want to take Ntcham back to his homeland for the rest of the season, with an option to buy inserted into the deal.
According to French network RMC Sport, Ntcham is in "active negotiations” with Marseille and has already spoken with the club’s sporting director Pablo Longoria.
Nantes are also keen to land Ntcham, but the player’s preference is a move to the Orange Velodrome.
Ntcham, 24, has not featured for Celtic since December 23.
