What the Celtic fans had to say

Here’s how the Celtic fans reacted on social media after tonight’s draw in Lille.

Kristoffer Ajer’s injury

Celtic are sweating over Kris Ajer’s fitness after the Norwegian was forced off with a groin injury.

Lennon praises Bain

Neil Lennon admits Scott Bain could be set for an extended run in the team after impressing against Lille.

How the Celtic players rated...

A 9, an 8, a few 7s, but also three 5s.

Celtic have had to settle for a draw away to Lille.

The visitors were excellent in the first half where they netted twice through Mohamed Elyounoussi and, other than a Scott Bain penalty save, didn’t give up too many opportunities to the home side. It was a very different story in the second period with Neil Lennon’s men penned in for both periods, as goals from Mehmet Celik and Nanitamo Ikone earned the hosts a draw.

Frimpong charges towards the Lille defence, manages to make room for a shot, which he fires well over the bar.

Elyounoussi goes into the book for a late challenge on Botman.

Celtic have altered their formation for the final eight minutes. They’ve gone for a 3-5-2 with Elyounoussi now partnering Edouard up front.

It’s a triple sub for Celtic. Brown, Christie and Ntcham make way for Welsh, Rogic and Soro.

A weaving run from Elyounoussi encourages the attacker to try his luck from a narrow angle, forcing a save from the keeper.
