Lennon in Leicester City link as Celtic celebrate
The current incumbent at the King Power Stadium, Nigel Pearson, is believed to be under threat following his side’s dramatic defeat by Watford in the play-off for promotion to the Barclays Premier League and the Celtic boss will be considered a possible replacement.
The Northern Irishman spent four years with Leicester as a player, during which he helped the club win two League Cups.

Hide AdLennon, who is on a rolling 12-month contract at Celtic Park, recently intimated that he would put thoughts about his future on hold until after the Scottish Cup final against Hibernian on 26 May.
He said last month: “You just don’t know what’s around the corner and what challenges lie ahead for you,” sparking fears among the Parkhead faithful that he may be ready to seek a new test elsewhere.
Meanwhile, Celtic took possession of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League trophy following Saturday’s 4-0 victory over St Johnstone and chief executive Peter Lawwell praised everyone on and off the field for making it such a special day.
“Getting the league trophy is always a great occasion,” he said, “and the team produced a performance worthy of champions to win the match.
“Neil, his backroom staff and all the players deserve congratulations for their efforts in retaining the league title.
“It was a fantastic atmosphere on Saturday and, once again, our supporters were magnificent. It’s fitting that in this, our 125th year, we are the Scottish champions and that the league flag continues to fly over Celtic Park.
“I’d like to thank all our supporters for making Saturday a great occasion, and the whole season a memorable one. Our season’s not finished, of course, and we hope to finish with a Scottish Cup victory at Hampden on 26 May.”
