What channel is LASK v Celtic? TV and live stream details for Champions League play-off
How to watch LASK v Celtic for free
Celtic can secure their spot in the Champions League when they travel to Austria for the play-off second leg against LASK on Tuesday.
Leading 3-0 from the first leg in Glasgow last week, Martin O’Neill’s side are in pole position to qualify for UEFA’s elite competition after falling at the same hurdle last year to Kairat Almaty of Kazakhstan on penalties.
Avoiding defeat by more than two goals in Linz will be enough to send Celtic into Thursday’s draw for the 36-team league phase. Lose by three then the game will go to extra-time and penalties if required.
LASK posed enough of a threat at Celtic Park to suggest the tie is far from over. The reigning Austrian champions scored two disallowed goals and had a number of chances - but Celtic were clinical up front with three stunning strikes, one from Benjamin Nygren and two from Camilo Duran, securing a commanding lead to take to the Raiffeisen Arena.
If Celtic contrive to lose the tie, they will miss out on an estimated £40million windfall for competing in the Champions League, but will have the safety net of dropping into the Europa League.
