How to watch Celtic v Aberdeen

Celtic host Aberdeen on Wednesday night looking to maintain their perfect start to their Scottish Premiership title defence.

While things went badly awry for Martin O’Neill’s side in their Champions League play-off last week, blowing a four-goal lead to lose 5-4 on aggregate to Austrian side LASK to drop into the Europa League, the domestic form has been good.

Victories over Dundee, Kilmarnock and Falkirk have put Celtic top of the early table as the only Premiership side to have taken maximum points from their opening three league fixtures with eight goals scored and two conceded.

Celtic are expected to announce a number of new signings ahead of kick-off with the match taking place just hours before the 11pm UEFA deadline to register players for the Europa League squad.

Aberdeen, meanwhile, are languishing down in 10th place in the standings after following up the opening day win over Hearts with back-to-back league defeats against Dundee and Rangers.

The Dons flirted with the relegation play-off last season and manager Stephen Robinson will hope to get a tune out of his revamped squad this season after overseeing a major overhaul that included 13 new additions and 15 departures.
