How to watch Celtic v Aberdeen

Celtic manager Wilfried Nancy will go in desperate search of his first win in charge when Aberdeen visit Parkhead on Sunday.

The 48-year-old Frenchman has lost four consecutive matches since his appointment just over a fortnight ago following his arrival from Columbus Crew in the MLS.

He has endured the worst start of any Celtic manager in history and is the first since Jock Stein in 1978 to oversee four consecutive defeats.

It is 72 years since Celtic lost five matches in a row but such a scenario would be unthinkable for Nancy in his attempt to win over the Hoops support, who chanted for his immediate removal in the aftermath of the 2-1 defeat by Dundee United at Tannadice on Wednesday.

Celtic remain unbeaten in 32 meetings with Aberdeen in all competitions with 25 wins and seven draws since a 1-0 league defeat in May 2018. The Dons will also arrive in the east end of Glasgow on the back of a 3-0 away defeat by Sparta Prague in the Uefa Conference League on Thursday.

Jimmy Thelin’s men are in good form domestically, however, having earned more points in the Premiership than any other side since the start of October, winning seven of their last 10 league games to climb to sixth in the table, eight points behind second-placed Celtic.
