IN THE Scottish Cup Celtic and ICT appear as inseparable as Ben and Jerry and the games are always as tasty.

And, when I saw the team selection and the conditions, which didn’t exactly resemble the Neapolitan Riviera, my legs went to jelly! However, fair play to Lenny, the players he selected knuckled down and refused to pass the parcel of responsibility.

Sami got the party started when Tokely couldn’t cut out a great ball from Commons and the Greek smacked in an unstoppable shot. Skoosh put the game beyond doubt with a rare converted penalty.

This is a period of intense pressure, the League Cup semi-final, ICT in the Scottish Cup, Hearts away and then ICT at home in the league. These are the matches that will define our season. Hopefully, we can pick these games off one at a time and creep towards the title.
