Hearts moved three points clear at the top of the Premiership with an impressive 2-1 win over Celtic in Glasgow.
Goals from Claudio Braga and Oisin McEntee made it a debut to forget for new Celtic manager Wilfried Nancy, who changed his team’s shape in a tactical move that backfired. They did score a stoppage-time goal through Kieran Tierney - but it was not enough to spark a fightback.
The Hearts players celebrated wildly at full time after putting in a performance full of grit and determination. They took their chances well and have only lost one game all season. They have played a game more than Celtic but could move six points ahead next weekend if they beat Falkirk while Celtic are on Premier Sports Cup final duty against St Mirren.
Nancy’s Celtic side face Roma on Thursday in the Europa League as they try to bounce back from this defeat.
We give each player a mark out of ten for their performances at Celtic Park.
1. Kasper Schmeichel
Goalkeeper had no chance with either Hearts goal. Made one decent save from Shankland. 6 | SNS Group
2. Alexander Schwolow
Largely untroubled until the 87th minute when Engels headed straight against the keeper. While a good save, should not have been given a chance. Could do little about Tierney's consolation. 7 | PA
3. Auston Trusty
Saw a lot of the ball. And we mean A LOT. Hearts were happy to let the Celtic centre-half start off attacks as they pressed every player except him. 5 | SNS Group
4. Liam Scales
One of Celtic's better players. Positionally sound and won most of his duels. 6 | SNS Group
