Celtic to face Norwich

Celtic will take on Norwich City in a testimonial for the Canaries’ current longest-serving player, Adam Drury.

The game will take place at Carrow Road on Tuesday, 22 May, and will see former Parkhead team-mates Neil Lennon and Paul Lambert reunited as managers of the respective clubs.

“We’re delighted to be taking part in this testimonial match in honour of Adam,” said Lennon.

“He is someone who has given Norwich City tremendous service and it is right that such commitment to the club is being recognised in this way.

“Clearly, everyone at Celtic is delighted to see Paul enjoying such success. He has had a huge impact on the club and we are sure there will be many Celtic supporters wishing to travel to the match to pay tribute to Adam and, of course, to recognise the achievements of Paul, someone who did so much for Celtic.”

Lambert added: “It will be a great occasion, especially with Celtic coming down with the fans that they’ve got. It should be a great game and atmosphere.”

Drury, who joined Norwich from Peterborough in 2001, has played more than 350 matches for the club.
