Wilson could be hit with a two game ban, but has until Monday 31 January to appeal the SFA charge.

After the match Dundee striker John Baird defended the Celtic man, he said: “It was an elbow but I have to stress I think it was accidental. It’s not as if he has come over and said, ‘here, take that’.”

Kelvin Wilson will be available for Celtic’s SPL clash with Hibernian this coming Saturday. Neil Lennon’s side will be without injured defenders Adam Matthews and Charlie Mulgrew for the game at Easter Road.
