The Irishman, who netted twice in Celtic’s 5-1 demolition of Partick Thistle at Firhill, saw his car seized from outside the west end flat he rents from Scotland and Hull goalkeeper Allan McGregor.

And although the former Hibs and Falkirk hitman had tweeted his delight at the title win, just hours later he was fuming, taking to the Twitter to hit out at his car being towed, adding: “Paying to park at your own house is a joke but then not to let me take my kids’ stuff out is poor.”

The tweet has since been retweeted 80 times.

The 25-year-old moved into the £775,000 flat with his fiancee Debbie Lawlor, and their two-year-old son Bobby in February.
