Aberdeen vs Celtic injury news: 11 out and 3 doubts as Martin O'Neill set for big decision on trio at Pittodrie

All the latest team news ahead of Aberdeen v Celtic in the Scottish Premiership at Pittodrie on Wednesday.

Celtic will look to go second in the Premiership as they head north to face Aberdeen at Pittodrie this Wednesday night (kick-off: 8pm).

Martin O’Neill’s men rescued a draw against fierce rivals Rangers at the weekend, as second-half strikes from Kieran Tierney and Reo Hatate snapped a late point as they drew 2-2 at Ibrox, and will now look to leapfrog their Glasgow neighbours and put pressure on league leaders Hearts by winning their game in hand against Aberdeen.

Eight points behind Hearts, and two behind Rangers, failure to win against the Dons could have grave consequences for the current champions heading into the final nine games of the season.

Their hosts, Aberdeen, are just as desperate for points, having lost four of their last five games. Currently in eighth position and 13 points behind sixth-placed Falkirk, hopes of a top-half finish have virtually evaporated in recent weeks. Still without a permanent manager, interim head coach Peter Leven will take charge of the side once again.
