'It's clear the team aren't being coached', '60% of our outfield players are defenders': Frustrated Celtic fans react to goalless first half against St Johnstone

Celtic’s poor form showed no sign of changing in the first 45 minutes against St Johnstone at Celtic Park as Neil Lennon’s men were held goalless by the visitors.

Here’s what a frustrated support had to say about it on social media:

@TheTweetofShaun: "Another disorganised performance. It's clear the team are not being coached. They look unfit and leaderless. Worst of all it's really boring.”

@answer_me_this8: “So underwhelming again. I get it, teams can go through spells of poor form. But there is absolutely no sign this will improve any time soon.”

@elmonaghano88: “ST Johnstone at home. 60% of our outfield players are defenders or cdms. Still look shakey and we can’t create or take chances. When you set out to fail, you fail from the outset. Should be playing at least 2 if not 3 strikers.”

@TheWebsEdge: “Stop playing down the wings, Celtic, we're mince there; play through the middle of this team, and please for the love of all that is good, get a second striker on!”

@DanManCelt: “Absolutely no forward thinking other than half chances Eddy had. Griff, Turnbull, Moi for the second half please, tell them to bring on some tempo too. More action happening outside the ground today, this keeps up it’ll only worsen, but hey, a clean sheet first half, every cloud.”

@OlivurTwist: “No matter what the score is, Lennon will still be the manager next week and Lawwell will still be in charge. So nothing will change, and he’ll never allow it.”

@MCar1973: “Don't know what's worse the performance or Celtic TV trying to pass it off as positive.”
