Is this the Celtic XI to hand Rangers' their first league defeat of the season?

The possible Celtic line-up to face Rangers at Celtic Park this Sunday.

Celtic have failed. Rangers are the champions of Scotland once again as the dream of ten-in-a-row went up in smoke long before the recent 0-0 draw with Dundee United handed Steven Gerrard’s men the title.

That being said, there is no such thing as a dead-rubber derby. The overall bragging rights in 2020/21 undeniably belong to Rangers, but it would still give every Celtic supporter a rare reason to smile this campaign if they can dent their rivals’ pride on Sunday.

Looking to do so, and end Rangers’ unbeaten league season in the process, is interim boss John Kennedy. On paper, this looks like another victory in waiting of the Ibrox side, but Kennedy would do well to remember what occurred the last time the teams met.

Though Rangers won the encounter in Govan at New Year, they were made to work for their victory with Celtic dominating most of the match before Nir Bitton was shown a straight red card. Celtic’s diamond caused their opponents all sorts of problems that day and they will surely believe that it’s capable of doing so again when they take to the field in two days’ time.

But who will start in the formation? This is our best guess...
