Celtic fans got themselves something rare in season 2020/21 – a game involving their side they could truly enjoy.
David Martindale’s visitors were a tough proposition in the early going as they game raged from end to end and Celtic looked a little insure of how to play through the press.
However, once James Forrest opened the scoring the floodgates soon opened. David Turnbull added another soon after and when Scott Brown’s header was inadvertently turned home by Jack Fitzwater the game was done.
That wasn’t the end of the scoring, though. Mohamed Elyounoussi, in a starring performance, then netted a double before Ryan Christie climbed off the bench to add the sixth.

Not great in the first half where he didn't add much going forward. He was much more positive after the break. Photo: Ross MacDonald - SNS Group

Always seen bursting forward to support the attack and ask questions of the Livingston defence. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group

Just such a quality defender with the ball at his feet. Always looking to break through the lines. His weaving run set up Elyounoussi for the fifth. Photo: Craig Foy - SNS Group
