How the Celtic players rated in John Kennedy's first match in caretaker charge

Ratings out of ten for every Celtic player during the Scottish Premiership clash with Aberdeen

Celtic made a winning start to life after Neil Lennon as interim boss John Kennedy safely guided the reigning Scottish champions to a 1-0 victory over Aberdeen.

Odsonne Edouard nabbed the game’s only goal just eight minutes in. The striker was helped out by a massive deflection which wrong-footed goalkeeper Joe Lewis.

The hosts lacked the killer instinct to kill the game off, but other than a brief period of pressure in the second period, Aberdeen rarely looked like being capable of finding an equaliser.
