How the Celtic players rated after nervy 2-1 victory over Motherwell

Ratings out of ten for every Celtic player who played in the 2-1 victory over Motherwell

Celtic have made it consecutive victories in the Scottish Premiership after managing to hold on for victory against Graham Alexander’s Motherwell side.

The hosts made the perfect start with Stephen Welsh powering home a header from David Turnbull’s corner in just the second minute.

Though they dominated the rest of the first half they were forced to wait until after the break to double their advantage with Odsonne Edouard beating his man and firing into the bottom corner from just outside the penalty box.

From there it should have been comfortable for the reigning champions but a deflected goal from Allan Campbell turned up the pressure.

Ultimately they had to survive a couple of late chances from Motherwell, including one three minutes into stoppage time, in order to hold onto the three points.
