Henrik Larsson’s Falkenberg make Bangura move

CELTIC legend Henrik Larsson has launched an ambitious raid on his former club to sign unwanted striker Mo Bangura on loan.

Larsson was appointed manager of newly-promoted Falkenberg last year and is recruiting for his first season in the Swedish top flight. The Celtic legend remains friendly with former team-mates Neil Lennon and Johan Mjallby and asked them to allow Bangura to return to Sweden on loan.

But although Celtic were more than willing to allow Bangura to join Larsson’s new club, the player has no intention of joining the Swedish minnows. Larsson said: “Bangura is an amazing player and nothing is impossible, but I don’t want to talk about specific targets since they are still contracted to a club.”

However, Bangura’s agent, Patrick Mork, has killed off any hopes Celtic and Larsson have about the Sierra Leone striker. He said: “Mohamed is back with Celtic and will try to settle there.”
