Henrik Larsson odds on to be next Celtic manager

FORMER Celtic striker has been installed as the odds-on favourite to succeed Neil Lennon as the next manager of the Parkhead club.

Neil Lennon’s agent - who represents the Northern Irishman - said that after four years and three title wins, the former club captain had decided he wanted to take on a fresh challenge.

William Hill the former Barcelona frontman as 8/11 favourite with Ladbrokes quoting the Swede at 4/5 to be the next manager in the Celtic Park hotseat,

David Moyes is the second favourite at 7/2 with Owen Coyle and Malkay Mackay at 6/1 joint third favourites.

“The rumours about Neil Lennon’s future had been doing the rounds over the last few weeks – and I don’t think it’s a major surprise that he has left Celtic,” said William Hill spokesman Tony Kenny, “Larsson is idolised at Parkhead – and the money suggests King Henrik could be back to take the throne at Paradise.”
