Hearts and Hibs set for Edinburgh derby in Scottish Cup semi-final

Edinburgh rivals Hearts and Hibs will face each other in the semi-finals of the William Hill Scottish Cup.

The draw was made at McDiarmid Park after holders Celtic defeated St Johnstone 1-0.

The Parkhead club were paired to meet Aberdeen in the other semi-final, the Dons having overcome St Mirren 2-0 in Paisley on Saturday evening.

Hearts had reached the last four by virtue of a 1-0 victory over Rangers at Tynecastle while Hibs eased to a 5-2 defeat of Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Easter Road on Friday evening.

The semi-finals ties will be played on the weekend of April 11 and 12.
