'Harsh on Klimala', 'Where's Henderson?' 'Lennon actually listened' - Celtic fans react to starting XI to face Kilmarnock

Celtic boss Neil Lennon has kept faith with the midfield and goalkeeper from the 3-2 win over Lille on Thursday, making just two changes to his starting line-up for the return to domestic duty at home to Kilmarnock.

Odsonne Edouard replaces Patryk Klimala in attack and Greg Taylor takes the place of Diego Laxalt at left wingback but the Hoops boss has retained David Turnbull and Ismaila Soro in midfield over regulars Scott Brown and Ryan Christie, who were dropped for the midweek Europa League victory.

Conor Hazard also keeps his place in goals with Vasilis Barkas left on the bench and Scott Bain dropped from the squad.

The Hoops go into the fixture sitting third in the Scottish Premiership, one point behind Hibs, and 16 adrift of league leaders Rangers, who claimed a 2-1 victory over Dundee United at Tannadice in the lunchtime kick-off.

Celtic fans are mostly pleased with the team selection, but have demanded a victory:

Brian Creaney (@BrianCreaney2): At long last, has someone at Parkhead woken up and began to listen, Soro & Turnbull. Show them what they have been missing bhoys.

Gazzarinho (@gazzarinho1): Happy enough. Just think it's a bit harsh on Klimala. Thought the lad was very good Thursday night

Mo (@50sEKBOY): Not playing Klimala who'll run, drag defence, make space for Eddy is so wrong - esp home. Hope Lenny isn't playing Calmac in defensive role.

PeejPrime (@PeejPrime): Credit where it is due, he has stuck with that midfield and not acted like Neil Lennon for one week. Keep it up, regardless what happens today that midfield needs time to work together - not every game is going to be on point while they learn to play together.

Gerard Durkin (@YESstoryman): Still persisting with Edouard even though hes been terrible in the last month?

Craig - VDZE Media (@VDZEMedia): Great to see Johnston back on the bench. Disappointed neither Henderson or Dembélé are though. Mental that it's came to starting Hazard in nets. Our recruitment has been a shambles for the most part lately.

Leitchy83 (@leitchy83yt): Henderson not being in the squad is a little disappointing. However happy to see Johnston back in the group. Big performance required today.

Pablo (@Playbhoy80): Lennon finally using a bit of common sense with team selection. Same performance as Thursday again please lads.

Joe Walker (@CelticWalks6): He actually listened and didn’t bring Christie and brown back into the team.

D (@DarraMorra7): Glad the players that stepped up on Thursday have been rewarded with game time today but where’s young Henderson? Thought he was excellent the other night
