It’s a pretty attacking line-up for the reigning champions with attackers Leigh Griffiths, Odsonne Edouard, Mohamed Elyounoussi and playmaking No.10 David Turnbull all in the starting XI.

There was also a surprise change at goalkeeper with Scott Bain being recalled at the expense of Vasilis Barkas.

Here’s how the facts reacted on social media:

@MoiMania_: “So Griffiths gets a start because he came out and praised Lennon??”

@JJmoneyXL: “Why are we not giving Welsh a chance to develop? Leagues over, give him the opportunity and experience rather than playing the donkey Duffy and a midfielder at CB.”

@Worldhasg0nemad: “Never known a club to use their 3 keepers like musical chairs. Have we actually had a starting 11 that's went 4 games in a row? Sack the lot of them.”

@RossMac11_11: “We could get beat 5-0 by Hamilton tonight and Lennon will be at the press conference like "what's the problem? We just won a treble last month."

@aboutceltic: “Why sign a £5M goalkeeper if you aren't going to give him a run of matches behind a steady defence? I'm not saying he's going to be our #1 in the future but he's still got time to prove himself, Bain has already proven he isn't good enough to be our #1.”

@BenTheTim: “No Ralston? Absolute Joke!”

@ChinaBhoy: “Barkas, Klimala, Ajeti and Laxalt all on bench. That tells you all you need to know about our recruitment.”

@alkorta81:Neil Lennon really doesn't have a clue but let's just continue this train wreck until the end of the season.”
