Green Brigade plan Hampden welcome for Celtic ahead of Hearts clash in Scottish Cup Final

Despite Glasgow being in a Tier 3 category for coronavirus prevention, the fans hope to meet and inspire Neil Lennon’s side to the ‘quadruple treble’ with a 12th consecutive domestic trophy.
The group made their plan public in a tweet this afternoon detailing the muster point and time of the team’s arrival in Mount Florida.

Hide AdMass gatherings are in breach of the Scottish Government’s Tier 3 restrictions, which are in place for large swathes of Scotland including Glasgow and surrounding area, and in these areas meetings in outdoor settings are restricted to just six people from to households.
However that has not stopped supporters from gathering at Celtic Park in recent weeks to protest at the stewardship of the current Scottish champions after a poor run of form saw them fall off the pace in the SPFL Premiership and eliminated from the Europa League.
The Celtic Trust organised a protest outside Parkhead on Sunday ahead of a 2-0 win over Kilmarnock for Neil Lennon’s side, however the Green Brigade’s plans for another group gathering has an altogether different tone with the aim of backing the team to a fourth domestic clean sweep in a row.
Sunday’s final has been delayed from the usual May date because of the COVID-19 pandemic which saw football shutdown in March.
