Gary Mackay-Steven agrees summer Celtic deal

DUNDEE United winger Gary Mackay-Steven has signed a pre-contract agreement with Celtic and he will join the Scottish champions this summer, the Parkhead club have announced.

The 24-year-old made his first-team debut for United in July 2011, and he has gone on to make almost 130 appearances for the Tannadice side, scoring 27 goals.

He has also been capped by Scotland.

Hoops manager Ronny Deila spoke on Thursday of his interest in the player.

He said: “He is a player we have been looking at for a long time.”
