Ex-Celtic star insists 3 fringe performers are 'undroppable' for Sunday's clash with Kilmarnock

Ex-Celtic striker Chris Sutton believes manager Neil Lennon simply has to keep David Turnbull, Ismaila Soro and Conor Hazard in the starting XI for Sunday’s clash with Kilmarnock.

All three impressed as the Parkhead club ended a disappointing Europa League campaign on a high with a 3-2 victory over Lille on Thursday.

Turnbull created the opener and scored the winner, Soro shone in the middle of the park and Hazard made a key save to preserve victory.

Having shown up the rested first-team regulars, who’ve struggled for months, Sutton believes there’s no way any of them should drop out.

He said on BT Sport: “[Turnbull] simply has to play against Kilmarnock at the weekend? How can you drop him? How can you drop Soro? That was the whole point of giving them the opportunity. They have taken it. They are undroppable.

“Hazard has to play. He didn’t do anything wrong. The other goalkeepers have had a nightmare this season. Keep him in.”
