Daniel Majstorovic could retire after Stockholm
Majstorovic, who ended a two-year Celtic Park stay in 2012, fell out with AIK manager Andreas Alm when he snubbed a team meeting after learning he had been dropped.
The injury-prone central defender, 36, may now retire after having his contract cancelled with a year to go. AIK sporting director Bjorn Wesstrom said: “We have come to an agreement to go our separate ways. I won’t say whether it was expensive for us. But it is clearly not good. Both parties are responsible. I don’t know whether this is the end of his playing career.”

The original contract ran until the end of December 2014. In connection with the termination of the contract, the parties have no obligation towards each other.”
Majstorovic won an SPL title and Scottish Cup with Celtic. Signed from Greek side AEK Athens in 2010, he made 65 appearances and scored two goals before returning home to join AIK.
