The match was originally due to be played on August 15 but was called off after Scottish Government intervention due to a breach of Covid-19 protocols.

Fixture congestion meant rearranging the fixture was easier said than done, however, the SPFL have now confirmed the game will take place five months after its initial date, at Celtic Park on Wednesday, February 17 with a 7pm kick-off.

Celtic’s other outstanding fixture, the home clash against St Mirren postponed on October 31 due to the Parkhead side’s Scottish Cup commitments from last season, has also been rearranged for Wednesday, March 3 at 7.45pm.

The matches are among the three Neil Lennon’s side currently have in hand over league leaders Rangers as they look to claw back a 16-point deficit in the Scottish Premiership title race.
