The former goalkeeper, who made 642 appearances for the Parkhead club between 1982 and 1998, labelled the performance at Fir Park as ‘decent’ as a hat-trick from Mohamed Elyounoussi and a strike from Olivier Ntcham helped ease the pressure on Neil Lennon following the 4-1 defeat to Sparta Prague in the Europa League.

"Celtic played decent but not to the level we still know they can play, for me," Bonner told BBC Sportsound.

“It was fine, and they'll be happy with four goals. They won't be happy with losing a goal agian. That's a negative for them.

“That's one I would think Neil Lennon would have put down as a target today – no goals against.

“He will no doubt be talking (about) the positives after Thursday night. The positivity is that they won the game handsomely with four goals.”
