With the international break over, the domestic season returns at Celtic Park as Brendan Rodgers’ Hoops outfit host struggling Hearts in the east end of Glasgow.
It has been a contrasting start to the campaign for both sides heading into the clash, with Celtic yet to concede a goal, let alone drop a point. Hearts on the other hand are yet to taste victory after losing three of their opening four games of the new league season.
Celtic have been handed a double injury boost, with Canada boss Jesse Marsch allaying fears that Alistair Johnston may miss the game after coming off the pitch with a knock during international duty, while Cameron Carter-Vickers is also expected be fit for the game, despite being seen wearing a moon boot following the 3-0 win over Rangers a fortnight ago.
In the away dugout, Steven Naismith is without Calem Nieuwenhof, while Kenneth Vargas is also a doubt for the game with a ‘minor foot injury’. Beni Baningime could return to the starting XI for the first time this season though after overcoming a troublesome calf injury.
So how will both sides line up at Celtic Park tomorrow? The Scotsman predicts Celtic and Hearts’ starting XI, with changes expected on both sides.
