Celtic’s home meeting with Hamilton in the Ladbrokes Premiership could be fall victim to the worsening Scottish weather conditions.

A pitch inspection will take place at 9.30am on Saturday morning to see if the match can go ahead as more rough weather is expected on late Friday and early Saturday.

Ronny Deila’s side currently hold a seven point lead at the top of the Ladbrokes Premiership table.

A statement on the website read: “Given recent weather conditions and the current forecast for the next 24 hours, there will be a pitch inspection at Celtic Park tomorrow morning at 9.30am ahead of the game against Hamilton Accies.

“We will update supporters with further information following this inspection.”
