CELTIC have unveiled their 2015/16 Euro kit, ahead of their trip to Iceland to take on Stjarnan in the second leg of their Champions League qualifier.

Harking back to the ‘bumblebee’ kit of the mid 1990s, the club has described the new strip as a ‘modern interpretation of an old classic’.

Featuring a fluorescent yellow shirt with black hoops, fluorescent yellow shorts and black and yellow hooped socks, the bold kit is expected to be a hit with fans.

Hoops captain Scott Brown said: “European nights are a big part of this club; it’s what the players and fans crave.

“The lads are looking to make a big impression and this new kit gets us well on our way to achieving that. It’s a loud design but so are our own fans – I know they will love it.”
New Balance Football General Manager Richard Wright added: “We’re really proud of the first collection of kits that we’ve produced for Celtic Football Club.

“Providing the players with New Balance’s leading edge technology must always be the priority but brought together by a design that not only brings to life modern trends and styles but also has strong influences from the rich history of the club.”
